TouchCoin Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TouchCoin’s website, mobile web experience (PWA), and related services ("TouchCoin", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using TouchCoin, you agree to these Terms.
1. What TouchCoin Is
TouchCoin is a promotional digital recognition platform. It enables businesses, events, and communities to recognise participation or presence through NFC, QR codes, and web based experiences.
TouchCoin is not a payment service, wallet, rewards program, or financial product.
2. Promotional Recognition Only
All recognition provided through TouchCoin is:
- Promotional in nature
- Non financial
- Symbolic only
Recognition does not represent:
- Cash
- Stored value
- A balance
- A right to payment
- A redeemable asset
TouchCoin does not guarantee that recognition can be exchanged for money or anything of monetary value.
3. No Payments or Custody of Funds
TouchCoin does not:
- Process payments
- Hold customer funds
- Provide accounts or wallets
- Custody fiat or digital currency
Any optional promotions or third party offers are separate from TouchCoin and subject to their own terms.
4. Use of the Service
You may use TouchCoin for lawful, personal, promotional, or business purposes consistent with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Misuse the platform
- Attempt to extract value from recognition
- Interfere with devices, campaigns, or systems
- Use TouchCoin for unlawful or misleading activity
We may suspend or restrict access if misuse is detected.
5. Merchants & Event Hosts
Merchants and event hosts use TouchCoin to create recognition experiences. They do not issue money through TouchCoin and are responsible for how and where TouchCoin is used.
Merchants and hosts must comply with applicable laws and venue rules. TouchCoin may suspend campaigns that breach these Terms or create risk.
6. Recognition Units (Points or Sats)
Any points, sats, or similar units shown are symbolic units of recognition. They are not currency, money, or financial assets.
- Not transferable by default
- No ownership or entitlement is created
- Used only to display participation or unlock access where applicable
7. Optional Saving of Recognition
Users may optionally save recognition moments by providing contact details. Saving recognition is optional and does not create an account balance or financial right.

8. Third Party Services
TouchCoin may link to or reference third party services. We are not responsible for third party content, services, or offers.
Any interaction with third parties is at your own discretion.
9. Availability & Changes
TouchCoin is provided "as is" and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TouchCoin is not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of opportunity
- Misunderstanding of recognition
- Reliance on promotional content
Recognition is provided for engagement purposes only.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
